Intended purpose
protect.Ankle air is an ankle joint brace. The product is exclusively to be
used for the orthotic fitting of the ankle joint and only on unbroken skin or
if any wounds have been properly covered.
Indikationen
• Conservative and postoperative care of ligaments in the upper ankle
joint (second degree to III)
• After distortions
• In the case of chronic instability of the upper ankle joint

Contraindications

The orthosis is not to be used on open wounds

Fitting Instructions

• Open all the hook and loop fasteners.
• Adjust the width of the heel. Position the part that goes under the heel
using the hook and loop fasteners so that the side parts fit well to the
ankle.
• Put the ankle at a 90 degree angle. Put the orthosis on in such a way
that the heel is in the middle of the piece that goes under it and the side
parts are adjusted to the ankle.
• Close the bottom strap first and make sure that the side parts remain
parallel.
• Close the top band.
• Pull one strap tight or pull on both straps alternately until the orthosis is
firmly in place and does not exert too much pressure on the ankle.
Using the included pump, you can regulate the air content of the blister
and thus individually adjust the comfort level for yourself. One nozzle of
the pump is used for inflation and the other for deflation.
Care instructions
Hook and loop fasteners should be closed for washing.
• Wash the product by hand, preferably using medi clean washing agent.
• Do not bleach.
• Leave to dry naturally.
• Do not iron.
• Do not dry clean.
    
Storage instructions
Keep the product in a cool, dry place and do not expose to direct sunlight.
