Filling with fuel
1.
Make sure the heater is turned off and has cooled down after use.
2.
Place the heater outdoors.
3.
Make sure that the fuel is 100% pure quality.
WARNING! Make sure the fuel cap does not become contaminated by sand, etc.
4.
Unscrew the fuel cap.
5.
Fill with paraffin while keeping an eye on the fuel gauge. Stop when the gauge shows "F".
WARNING! The thread may become damaged if the cap is tightened incorrectly. If this happens, the fuel
cap must be replaced before using the heater.
6.
Tighten the fuel cap.
WARNING! Wipe up any spilled paraffin carefully. Fire hazard.
7.
Wipe up any spilled paraffin.
Ignition:
If the wick is dry (first time it is filled or the heater has run dry of fuel), keep the wick unventilated and wait
ten minutes before ignition occurs.
General
Fill with fuel as described above.
Place the heater as described above in "Safety Instructions".
Regularly ventilate the room in which the heater is being used.
Ignition
Before lighting it for the first time, wait 10 minutes after adding the fuel to give the wick time to thoroughly
soak up the paraffin.
Lighting the heater:
1.
Move the wick up using the adjuster knob. Do not force it. Turn it until it stops.
2.
Tilt the flue slightly by holding its handle.
3.
Light the wick with a match or lighter through the notches around the wick.
4.
Refit the flue in its vertical position.
5.
Keep an eye on the flame until it becomes steady after about 15 minutes.
