The temperature setting can be varied
according to your individual needs, however
a temperature of about 28°C is suitable for
most people. Adjust to individual needs.
INSTALLATION IN DOUBLE BED WITH
HARD BASE (FIG 1B)
Proceed as for a single bed but observe
the following:
IMPORTANT!
In double beds with two mattresses, two
elements must be used. They must not
be placed under the division between
the mattresses.
INSTALLATION IN WATER BEDS WITH
"SOFT SIDES" (FIG 1C)
Make sure that no part of the heating
element gets under or in contact with the
insulation around the edges. The whole
of the element must lie under the water
mattress and safety liner. The element
must lie flat.
IMPORTANT!
In double beds with two mattresses, two
elements must be used. They must not
be placed under the division between the
mattresses.
HEATING TIME
The heating time for water from 8°C to
28°C is 1-3 days, depending on the volume
of water and the power of the element.
COOLING TIME
Cooling takes a longer time than warming.
The cooling time from 30°-28°C may be
several days.
CLEANING
Clean the element with a damp cloth.
IMPORTANT!
The cable between the heating element
and the thermostat cannot be repaired or
replaced. If it is damaged the appliance
should be discarded.
ADJUSTING THE CONTROL DEVICE
When the user presses any key on the control
device, the display will light up, enabling
the user to see the display when the room
is dark. In order to change any settings
the child safety lock
while any adjustments are made. There is
one timer deactivated mode and one timer
activated mode.
TIMER DEACTIVATED MODE
By default the control device is set to timer
deactivated mode. If the device has been
changed to the timer activated mode, and
the user wants to switch to the timer deacti-
vated mode, press the
buttons for 1 second. In the timer deactivated
mode the user can adjust the temperature, but
not set the timer. The timer shows --:-- , indi-
cating it is non functional.
