SAFETY WARNING (GRATERS)
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
if they understand the hazards involved.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are aged from 8
years and above and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
Children shall not play with the appliance
Do not use the appliance in case of contact with water or if the plug or power cable seems to
be wet.
Appliance must be unplugged before any intervention, including cleaning after use.
If the supply cord is damaged, in order to avoid a hazard, it must be replaced by a qualified
expert using only a cable of the same type supplied by the producer.
Place the device on a flat surface and avoid positions that could cause the device to fall.
The device must be connected to a mains socket which is always easily accessible and of the
same voltage than the one mentioned on the technical nameplate affixed to the device.
This appliance is intended for household use only.
At the end of use always unplug the appliance, especially when left unattended, disassemble,
wash and wipe all parts of the machine in contact with food.

At the end of use, to avoid any risk of unexpected start at the next powering, turn the power
switch off (-0-) before disconnecting the device from the power supply.
"Only for U.S.A. use" To reduce the risks of electric shock, this product has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other). This plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. When the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. When it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any
way.
GRATER:
Caution! To avoid the risk of cuts, never touch the roller while the appliance is operating.
Always use the pusher to apply the food to be grated against the roller. In any case, avoid
touching the roller while it is moving! Always unplug the appliance before any direct
contact with this part!
Caution The hard rind of the dry cheese can cause inadvertent blockage of the roller and
seriously damage the appliance. It is therefore preferable to cut the cheese rind before
grating the cheese.
