IMPORTANT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, make sure to vent air outside. Do not exhaust air into spaces within walls or ceilings, in
the attic, hanging ceiling or garage.
Automatic device - to reduce the risk of injury, unplug the appliance before servicing.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, USE ONLY METAL DUCTS.
WARNING: IN ORDER TO REDUCE STOVE FIRE RISKS
 Always turn the hood on when cooking.
Never leave cooking appliances unattended when they are turned on at high heat. Overflows cause smoke and
greasy spillovers that may ignite. Heat oil slowly on low or medium heat.
It is essential to have the hood on when cooking at high heat or when cooking flambé (blazed) foods (ex. Crepes
Suzette, Cherries Jubilee, steaks flambéed pepper).
 Clean the wheels of the fan. Do not allow grease to accumulate on fan, filters or exhaust ducts.
 Use the proper pan size. Always use cookware and utensils appropriate to the size of the heating surface.

INSTRUCTIONS
Smother the flames with a tight-fitting lid, cookie sheet or metal tray, then turn off the burner.
If the flames do not go out immediately, EVACUATE THE PREMISES AND CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
Never take an inflamed pan in your hands. You may get burned.
DO NOT USE WATER, including a dish cloth or wet towel, as it could cause a violent steam explosion.
