 Turn the top panel's VOL/PWR knob clockwise to turn on the
radio.
 Turn the top panel's CH selector knob to choose the desired
operating channel.
 Rotate the VOL/PWR knob to set the desired audio level.
If no signal is present, press (or press and hold in) the SIDE-1
(or SIDE-2) button assigned to "SQL OFF" function; background
noise will now be heard, and you may use this to set the VOL/
PWR knob for the desired audio level.
 To transmit, press and hold in the PTT switch. Speak into the mi-
crophone area of the front panel grille (lower right-hand corner)
in a normal voice level. To return to the Receive mode, release
the PTT switch.
 Press (or press and hold in) the SIDE-1/-2 button (or Program-
mable key) to activate the function which is corresponding with
that key.
 Turn the top panel's VOL/PWR knob fully counter clockwise to
turn off the radio.

 Gire el mando de VOLUMEN/ENCENDIDO-APAGADO situado
en el panel superior en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para
encender el transceptor.
 Gire el mando de SELECCIÓN DE CANAL situado en el panel
superior para seleccionar el canal de funcionamiento deseado.
 Gire el mando de VOLUMEN/ENCENDIDO-APAGADO para
establecer el nivel de audio deseado.
Si no hay señal, pulse (o mantenga pulsada) la tecla LATER-
AL-1 (o LATERAL-2) asignada a la función "SQL desactivado".
De esa forma, escuchará ruido de fondo, que podrá utilizar para
establecer el volumen deseado mediante el mando de VOLU-
MEN/ENCENDIDO-APAGADO.
 Para transmitir, mantenga pulsado el interruptor PTT. Hable a la
zona del micrófono situada en la rejilla del panel frontal (esquina
inferior derecha) con un volumen de voz normal. Para volver al
modo de recepción, suelte el interruptor PTT.
 Pulse (o mantenga pulsada) la tecla LATERAL-1/-2 (o la PRO-
GRAMABLE) para activar la función que corresponda a dicha
tecla.
 Gire el mando de VOLUMEN/ENCENDIDO-APAGADO situado
en el panel superior en el sentido contrario a las agujas del reloj
para apagar el transceptor.

geben Sie die Sendetaste wieder frei.
 Drücken Sie die seitliche Taste-1/-2) (bzw. die programmier-
bare Taste) kurz (bzw. lang), um die dieser Taste zugeordneten
Funktion zu aktivieren.
 Drehen Sie den EIN/AUS-Lautstärkeregler oben am Funkgerät
bis zum Anschlag entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn, um das
Funkgerät auszuschalten.
