Problem
Engine does not start.
Unusual noises (rattling,
clanging, knocking).
Shaking, vibrations.
Unclean cut or speed
is decreasing.
Grass is not being picked up
or grass catcher is not filling.
Wheel drive does not work.

Possible cause(s)
Throttle is not in the right position. Set throttle to position
Lawn mower is standing in long
grass.
No fuel in the tank.
Spark plug terminal not connected. Connect spark plug terminal.
Fuel old or dirty.
Air filter clogged.
Battery not inserted correctly.
Battery discharged.
Lead damaged.
Battery defective.
Screws, nuts, or other fasteners
loose
Cutter(s) loose.
Cutter(s) damaged.
Cutters not balanced correctly.
Engine not secure.
Grass too high.
Grass too damp.
Ejector clogged.
Cutters blunt.
Insufficient power from motor.
Grass sack full.
Dirty grass sack.
V belt torn or gears defect.
Cable pull/Bowden cable torn.
Operating instructions – Lawn mower with IC engine
Remedy
(if the engine is cold).
Set throttle to
(if the engine is warm).
Place the lawn mower onto a surface
with shorter grass.
Fill tank with clean, fresh fuel.
Replace with new fuel.
Clean air filter.
Insert battery correctly into the battery
compartment on the engine until it
engages.
Charge battery with provided battery
charger.
Check whether electric lead OK.
Have battery tested by a service centre.
Tighten parts. If the noises persist:
Contact a specialist garage.
Cutter fastening screw must be
tightened at specialist garage.
Cutters must be replaced at specialist
garage.
Cutters must be replaced or balanced
at specialist garage.
Engine must be secured at specialist
garage.
Set larger cutting height, if necessary
mow twice.
Let the lawn dry.
Switch OFF engine, remove hindrance.
Cutters must be replaced or reground
at a specialist garage.
Mow more often. Select a greater
cutting height.
Switch off engine. Unload grass catcher.
Switch off engine. Clean air ducts in the
grass catcher.
Damaged parts must be replaced at
a specialist garage.
