• With the SWING-button you make the fan oscillating from left to
right (and back). Pressing one time you activate this function,
pressing another time de-activates it.
• With the IONIZER-button you make that the fan emits +/-ions to
clean and purify the air.
The fan has a memory-function. When you turn off the fan by the
ON/OFF-button, but keep the power, it will remember the previous
work status and pick up this again when you turn on again (except
the timing and the sleep wind function).
Remind! Before unplugging the power cord, turn off the power!
CLEANING AND SERVICE
Always switch off and unplug the fan before you clean it or do some
service.
The fan only needs some general external maintenance. Remove
dust with a soft cloth, or use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush. Is
the fan very dirty, then you can open the front guard and wipe the
blades and guards with a damp (not: wet!!) cloth and a soft kitchen
detergent. Then wipe it dry and let the fan dry very good before
using it again. Make sure that there is no water on other parts than
the blades and the guards! Never wash or spray the fan!
To avoid decolouring or deterioration never use aggressive
(cleaning)materials.
When you want to store the fan at the end of the season, put it back
in the original package and store it on a safe and dry place, not
extremely warm or cold.
