6. Maintenance

6.1 Monitoring the battery condition

The battery charge level is monitored continuously following start-up.
If 3 long signal tones sound before flushing occurs, the battery charge level is low.
> Exchange the battery soon.
A maximum of 50-100 flushes can still be triggered after this signal tone sounds for
the first time.
If 3 long signal tones sound during use without flushing being triggered, the battery is
empty.
> Exchange the battery immediately.

6.2 System check

Refer to page 2 for a graphic illustration of program selection.
> Hold the magnetic key in front of the sensor eye until 5 signal tones sound.
> Remove the magnetic key
The control confirms the activation of the system check by two short signal tones.
Flush is followed by 1 signal tone = system ok
2 long signal tones without flushing = solenoid valve problem
Please check:
Connection electronic unit <-> magnetic valve
3 long signal tones without flushing = weak or empty battery
> Exchange the battery immediately.
Two short signal tones then sound. Following this, the control unit returns to the
preset flushing program and is once again operational , depending on the diagnosis.
