down the area and wipe the cleaner over the accumulated dirt. Allow the cleaner to take effect, then
rinse immediately with clean water. For stubborn stains, simply repeat this treatment again.
5. To prevent your swimming pool from turning into a foam bath when it is refilled, you should rinse it
out thoroughly after cleaning. It is also important that you use only the recommended agents and
not household cleaners to clean your pool, otherwise the effectiveness of your water treatment
products may be limited. Some base materials in household cleaners do not react well with the water
treatment agents.
Instructions for refilling the swimming pool:
Check the filter system and replace the filter sand if necessary.
First adjust the pH level (ideal: 7.0–7.4). This is followed by basic disinfection or intermittent chlorination. After
a few days, continue with normal water maintenance as follows:
1. pH value regulation
2. Disinfection
3. Algae prevention
4. Flocculation
5. Cleaning and maintenance
Instructions for perfect overwintering:
In accordance with the season, preparations for the overwintering of your outdoor swimming pool begin in the
autumn.
Empty 1/3 of the water and simply cover the pool with a liner. Any layer of ice which forms will not damage
your pool. Drain all the pipes and devices and store them such that they are protected against the snow.
The pool is drained using the brush cleaning set and the filter system.
Overwintering products prevent the crystallisation of mineral salts, i.e. the formation of irritating limescale is
considerably reduced. The growth of resistant algae types as well as the contamination of the joints, corners
and edges is prevented or markedly reduced.
The application: Once the swimming season has ended, and when free chlorine is still present, wait a few
days. Once the water level has dropped below the mounting parts, add the overwintering product depending
on the current water hardness:

Tip 1: In early spring, a few weeks before cleaning, add half of the autumn dose again. During spring
cleaning, when you drain away the old water, this will save you a great deal of cleaning.
If the winter months have been exceptionally warm, the algae growth begins again and the overwintering
product is partially consumed. It has also been our experience that, if a swimming pool is not covered during
the winter, up to half of its water content is replaced by snow and rain. This means, that in such special
cases, it may be necessary to add additional overwintering product following visual inspection of the
swimming pool water.
