6 Basic Settings

All settings are made via a menu.
1) To activate it, press the button MENU (14). The
main menu appears which allows to select the
four submenus with the buttons
"Camera Setup" for the camera settings
"Recorder Setup" for the recording settings
"System Setup" for the system settings
"Event List" to view photos and video recordings
2) To activate a selected submenu, press the but-
ton ENTER (11) [the button
controller]. The first menu item is selected.

Camera Setup
Camera setting (brightness, colour saturation)
Resolution (VGA, QVGA, zoom)
Image quality (picture quality high, normal, low)
Camera enable (showing camera picture)
Pairing (assigning camera)
Recorder Setup
Motion detect (motion sensor)
Record type (recording photo or video)
Overwrite record (overwrite mode)
Schedule record (timer recording)
Format card (formatting memory card)
System Setup
Preview mode (mode for live surveillance)
Clock (setting date and time)
TV system (PAL / NTSC for jack AV OUT)
Factory reset (factory settings)
Version (firmware version)
Event List
File list
VIDEO (video recordings)
PICTURE (photos)
4) To go back to the main menu from a submenu
press the button MENU. To deactivate the main
menu, press the button MENU again. The menu
also disappears automatically if no button has
been pressed for 30 seconds.

6.1 System settings

1) Activate the submenu "System Setup"

2) The first menu item "Preview mode" is selected.

a) Press the button ENTER. The year is
selected and can be adjusted with the buttons

selected.
4) To set the colour standard for the signal at the
jack AV OUT (3), go to the next menu item "TV
system" with the button

5) To reset the monitor to the factory setting,
select the menu item "Factory reset" with the

6) To display the firmware versions of the monitor
and the cameras, select the menu item "Version"
with the button
The monitor is marked RX.
7) To exit the menu, press the button MENU.

6.2 Camera settings

1) Activate the submenu "Camera Setup" (MENU,
ENTER).
2) The first menu item "Camera setting" is selected.
Via this menu item it is possible to adjust the
brightness and the colour saturation sepa-
rately for each camera.
