For the thermostatic valve, the minimum position is
and the maximum position. The thermostat triggers
the main burner to automatically ignite and turn off (ON /
OFF); only the pilot flame remains lit.
When the valve knob/tap is turned to the right onto " ", or
the thermostat knob is set to "0", the main burner remains
off.
Turning off the pilot burner
To turn the pilot burner off, press the valve knob/ tap and
turn to position " ".
If the unit is turned off and then back on again, wait for
about 1 minute to allow the valve to automatically reset.
Emptying the well (fig.8)
The tilting device is designed to simplify the emptying
of the well. The device is activated by means of a hand-
wheel positioned on the right side of the front panel. The
well rises by turning the hand-wheel clockwise and lowers

by turning it anticlockwise. In models with electric
powered tilting, there are buttons instead of the hand-
wheel for raising and lowering the well.
