6. DAB+ RADIO FUNCTION
• Dynamic Label Segment (DLS) -
Text information displayed in the running text.
This can be e.g. information about the name of an artist or
music title, contact details of the

radio station, etc.
• Signal strength
The signal strength displayed shows the reception
strength of the radio station at your location. The strong-
er the signal, the longer the bar of the filled rectangles.
• Programme type (PTY) - like 'Rock', 'Pop', 'Talk' or
'News'.
• Multiplex name - Displays the range and collection of
radio stations on a frequency.
• Channel and frequency, for example: 12B 225.648
MHz.
• Signal error - This is a number between 0 and 99. To
ensure that digital radio reception is as interference-free
as possible, this number should not be higher than 30.
Should you experience signal disruptions or if the number
is significantly higher than 30, consider changing the lo-
cation of the device.
• Signal information: Provides information about the data
rate of the signal transmission.
• Time and date: Shows the current date and time.
These data are transmitted by the radio station you are
receiving.
