Handling of batteries
WARNING: Danger of explosion!
Do not expose the batteries to high temperatures or direct sunlight. Never throw batter-
ies into fire.
CAUTION:
Different battery types or new and spent batteries may not be used together.

Location of Controls

1 Release button
2 Ion nozzle
3 Battery compartment
4 On / off switch
5 Indicator light
6 Brush pad
Inserting the batteries
(Battery is not included in the scope of delivery)
Also see Fig. (a) on page 3.
1. Open the battery compartment in the handle by sliding the cover downwards.
2. Insert 2 batteries of the type AAA/R03. Ensure the correct polarity (see bottom of bat-
tery compartment)!
3. Close the battery compartment again.
NOTE:
• If the device is out of use for a long period of time, remove the battery to prevent
"leaking".
• When the indicator light no longer lights up during operation, replace the batteries.
