Charging the rechargeable battery

ATTENTION!
• Risk of short-circuit! Do not insert any conductive objects (e.g. screwdrivers or simi-
lar) into the charging slot of the main unit.
• The rechargeable battery can only be charged with the enclosed charger. Do not use
the charger to charge other rechargeable batteries.
• Pull the charger out of the socket if you do not use it for a prolonged period of time.
• Completely charge the rechargeable battery before fi rst use for maximum charge.
3. Disconnect the charger (12) from the mains supply and then from the device. Stow it
in a place that is not accessible to children.
• Overview of suction nozzles Nozzle with squeegee lip (17): You can use this nozzle
to remove dirty water from smooth surfaces such as windows, tiles or mirrors.
• Brush nozzle (15): Use the brush nozzle to dust delicate objects such as picture
frames, lamp shades, keyboards, books etc.
• Tile nozzle (16): Use the tile nozzle to vacuum clean fabric folds, tiles, corners, nooks
and crannies or other hard-to-reach areas.
Mounting/removing suction nozzles
• Insert the desired nozzle up to the stop point in the suction opening (10) on the front
of the waste water tank (9). Check to make sure it is secure.
• To remove a suction nozzle, pull it out of the suction opening.

1. First connect the charger to the main unit (8) (jack at
the bottom of the handle on the main unit) and then to
a properly installed, easily accessible socket. The control
light (5) on the handle (4) of the main unit will then light up.
2. Charge the rechargeable battery of the device for approx.
4 – 8 hours. The control light will illuminate in red as long
as the device is charging. It turns green once the device
is charged.
• Removal: Hold the waste water tank with one hand to pre-
vent it from falling down. With the other hand, push the
release button (2) of the waste water tank and take it off
of the main unit.
• Insertion: A catch is located on the bottom side of the main
unit. Insert it in the corresponding slit in the waste water
tank. Then push the two parts of the device together at the
top until the locking mechanism audibly locks into place.
Then check whether the waste water tank is properly seat-
ed.
