4. Instalation / Connection

4.1 Installation and adjustmentof the holding system

•
Remove the protection cover of the gear wave (*if not pre-assembled*)
•
Attach the motor unit and affix with enclosed screw (*if not pre-assembled*)
•
The seal must be glued onto (underneath the holding plate of the motor);
•
Afterwards, connect and affix motor unit with the specified screw 2x; the gear motor must show
into the opposite direction of the service lid (there has to be a free access to the service lid) (*if
not pre-assembled)
Mind at the installation, that all seals are put on correctly – only then an absolute tightness of the system
is guaranteed!
•
Once the tank is buried, open the service lid and tighten the steel cable which is laying
inside with a turnbuckle (see figure 10.1 turnbuckle)
!!! Only if the steel cable is tightened enough, guarantees that the holding system is placed right
in the middle in the bottom part of the tank !!!
!!! Because of the different mounting versions of the underground tank, the position of the holding
system must be adjusted correctly, in the lowest point, the screw must show a distance of about 4-6 cm
to the steel frame in the mounted condition !!!
