Assembly
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
Bolt the machine to a workbench/bench top
with suitable screws via the 4 holes intended for
this.
Mounting the Spark Guard/Workpiece
Support (see figures A
Use the machine only with the spark guard
9. Sparks being expelled can injure your eyes
or set objects in the vicinity on fire.
Mount the holder for the spark guard 8 with the
two screws.
Screw the spark guard 9 to the holder of the
spark guard 8.
Mount the workpiece support 10 as shown in
the figure.
Regularly check the clearance between the
workpiece support 10 as well as the holder
of the spark guard 8 to the grinding wheel,
and readjust as required. The clearance to
the grinding wheel may not exceed 2 mm.
When the clearance is larger, you are not suf-
ficiently protected against sparking. The
workpiece can be drawn in by the rotational
motion of the grinding wheel and lead to in-
juries.
Replace the grinding wheel when the holder of
the spark guard 8 can no longer be adjusted to
the required clearance of 2 mm (max.) to the
grinding wheel.
Power supply (GSM 200 D)
(Three-Phase Current)
Have the power tool connected to the
mains supply only through a qualified elec-
trician. The machine is provided without a
mains plug. When connecting, pay attention
to the correct rotation direction of the power
tool.

D)
Loosen the 3 screws of cover 1 and remove cov-
er 1. Hold the grinder spindle 5 in place with an
open-end spanner (size 7 mm) and unscrew
clamping nut 2.
Note: The grinder spindle 5 on the left side of
the machine has a left-hand thread.
Remove the clamping flange 3 and the grinding
wheel 5 from the grinder spindle.
The new grinding wheel is mounted in reverse
order. Place the cover 1 firmly onto the housing
and tighten with the 3 screws.
Dress used and out-of-centre grinding discs
with a whetstone (accessory) before continuing
to use them.
Dust/Chip Extraction
The rated speed of the accessory must be at
least equal to the maximum speed marked
on the power tool. Accessories running fast-
er than their rated speed can break and fly
apart.
Dusts from materials such as lead-containing
coatings, some wood types, minerals and
metal can be harmful to one's health. Touch-
ing or breathing-in the dusts can cause aller-
gic reactions and/or lead to respiratory infec-
tions of the user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are
considered as carcinogenic, especially in
connection with wood-treatment additives
(chromate, wood preservative). Materials
containing asbestos may only be worked by
specialists.
– Provide for good ventilation of the work-
ing place.
– It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-
class respirator.
Observe the relevant regulations in your
country for the materials to be worked.
