REPAIR AND CLEANING PROCEDURE

LIFTING THE PUMP

ATTENTION: This pump is extremely heavy. A lifter is neccesary in repair or installation procedures.
1. Fit the eye bolts (33) included and review all fitting before lift the pump.
CLEAN THE MUFFLER
1. The muffler has a transparent cup in the bottom. Just detach it by
releasing its clipped strips and empty the content and clean it.
2. Should the performance of the pump seem to be poor after cleaning,
it´s also possible to replace the muffler (27) by a new one. Just
unscrew to remove and screw to install. Part number (951435).
AIR DISTRIBUTOR
1. Unscrew the bolts (23) and remove the cap (22).
2. Unscrew the bolts (23) and take away the cap (22). Take away the
o-ring (16).
3. Strike gently with a plastic tool through exhaust seat to remove the
spool valve (18).
4. Replace the seals (17) and (19) with new ones or replace the whole
spool (18) with its seals factory installed (kit 539006). This is
strongly recommended in order to ensure the correct assembly of
the seals.
