Safety Instructions


Read through the Instruction Manual carefully.

Heed the following safety instructions.

Keep the Instruction manual in a safe place in the vicinity of the unit.

Make sure that the BIOM® ready is only used by trained physicians and OR
employees, who, due to their knowledge, training and practical experience, can
guarantee proper use.

Heed the instruction manuals and safety instructions for the surgical microscope
and any other equipment you are using.

Before use: Get OCULUS or an authorized dealer to train you in the operation of the
BIOM® ready.

Make sure that the packaging and the BIOM® ready are undamaged and that the
BIOM® ready is sterile.

Before use, pay attention to the storage conditions; see page 19.

Do not mount and dismount the BIOM® ready over the patient.
