Setting the timer/ionization
Activate ion generator
When the negative ion generator is
activated, the smallest, health-hazard-
ous particles such as tobacco smoke
and soot are also removed from the air.
Negative ions attract floating dust parti-
cles and combine with further dust parti-
cles to form what are known as clusters,
which due to their size are effectively
trapped by the air filter.
The ionization of the air also reduces
electrostatic charges.
Setting the timer:
Check clock time
• Press the "Set" button
The set time and set day of the week now
appear (Monday = 1 ... Sunday = 7).
Setting the clock
• Simultaneously press the "Set" and
"rH%" buttons.
You can now set the time and day of the
week.
Example:
Your appliance indicates 09.30, Mon-
day (= 1).
However, it is 14.10, Wednesday (= 3).
First set the day of the week.
• Press the "+" button until "3" appears.
• Press the "Set" button and set the hours.
•Press the "Set" button and set the
minutes.
• Press the "Set" button again.
After about 10 seconds, your appliance
will again display the reference value of
the room air humidity.
neg Ions
Caution! Most of the dust clusters
formed by ionization is trapped by
the air filter. However, particularly
if the room air is heavily polluted,
some of these clusters may cling to
walls and other surfaces in the
room. Do not position your
PH14plus near a wall or curtain.
No liability can be assumed for any
surface deposits that may occur.
