To clean the device, use only isopropyl alcohol and mild soapy water.
Use only original cables and accessories, other cables and accessories may
adversely affect the EMC performance, operation and useful life of the device.

No preventive maintenance is necessary.
•
Wear protective gloves when cleaning the instruments.
•
Electrical instruments must not be placed in the cleansing agent for the purpose of
cleaning.
•
Do not allow moisture to get into the instrument when cleaning.
•
Before using a cleaning or decontamination method other than that recommended, the
user must request approval from Vascular Barcelona Devices, S.L. to ensure that this
method does not damage the instrument.
Expected service life
The expected service lifetime for VARIXIO® Pro Mag is 5 years, during which it is expected to
maintain its safety and essential performance.

Please send in the device for repair only after it has been cleaned and is free from any
contaminating materials which may constitute a health hazard.
If you require servicing, return the device in its original packaging. Please also use suitable
transport packaging.
Storage
Unplug the device for storage. Follow the steps below:
Disconnect the cable.

Make sure no capsule is attached.

Store the device in its packaging in a closed and dry room.

After prolonged storage in a cold environment, condensation may occur inside the unit

when it is brought into its place of operation. Wait at least 1 hour for the device to reach
room temperature and dry out before switching it on.
