Wear your personal protective equipment in accordance with the hazard
category of the medium to be processed. There is a risk of:
Set up the device in a spacious area on a flat, stable, clean, non-slip, dry and fireproof
surface.
The feet of the device must be clean and undamaged.
The device is not suitable for manual operation.
The device may become hot when in use.
Check the device and accessories for damage prior to each use. Do not use damaged
components.
The VARIXIO® Pod capsule must always be closed when the device is in
operation. Switch off the device immediately if any material leaks from the
capsule and clean the device.
The working temperature of the device must not exceed 40°C.
Only use with VARIXIO® Pod capsules
Do not use the device in explosive atmospheres, it is not explosion proof.
With substances capable of forming an explosive mixture, appropriate safety measures
must be applied, e.g. working under a fume hood.
The device does not start up again automatically following a cut in the power supply.
Safe operation is only guaranteed with the accessories described in the "Cables and
Accessories" chapter.
For protection of the device
The voltage stated on the name plate must correspond to the mains voltage.
The device must only be operated with the original plug-in power supply unit.
Protect the device and accessories from bumps and bangs.
The device must only be opened by experts.
15. ELECTRICAL SAFETY REQUIREIMENTS
VARIXIO® Pro Mag is designed and intended for continuous operation working with universal
mains voltage of 100 – 240 V, 50 – 60 Hz.
VARIXIO® Pro Mag is protected against electric shock using grounding protection. The device is
grounded through the conductor of the power cable.
