Product Description
VARIXIO® Pro Mag is an electronic, digitally programmable, magnetic stirrer, fitted with a dock
in which to fit a VARIXIO® Pod capsule. The stirrer contains a rotating magnetic element that
aligns with the frothing disc inside the VARIXIO® Pod capsule to make it rotate at predefined
combinations of speed and time according to the gas, sclerosing agent type, and concentration
parameters selected by the user.

Intended use: VARIXIO® Pro Mag is intended for exclusive use with VARIXIO® Pod capsules for
the preparation of foam for sclerotherapy of varicose veins.
VARIXIO® Pro Mag is an accessory device to VARIXIO® Pod capsules that must be used only
by doctors or other healthcare professionals experienced in sclerotherapy protocols for the
treatment of varicose veins.

2. DESCRIPTION

Device Parts
VARIXIO® Pro Mag has the following components / parts:
A Rotating mechanism: Pre-programmed magnetic rotation system with speed and time
control (not visible).
B Capsule dock: Circular compartment in which to place the VARIXIO
C Information display: 3-line display, as an element of communication with the user.
D Selector: Control button with rotary selection and executive function with push.
E Power supply: External power source with 100 - 240 V AC input providing 24 V DC
output.
F Power button: Press button to start, to stop (if running) or power off the device.
G Back button: Control button to allow navigating back to the previous selection.
H Home button: Control button for returning to the home screen (selection Capsule Type).
I VARIXIO® Pod capsule placed in the capsule dock.
