WARNING: In order to avoid the risk of electric shock, this appliance must only
be connected to a power supply with grounding protection. Power supply lines
must be free from transients, current and voltage spikes, voltage drops and
surges.
No panel or cover must ever be removed, except by personnel authorised by the manufacturer.
VARIXIO® Pro Mag must never be left switched on, left open or unattended during maintenance
of the system.
Please contact the manufacturer if for any reason the device causes tripping of the protection
switch of the local power supply.
WARNING: If the problem persists always contact the technical service
authorised by the manufacturer.
16. ELECTROMAGNETIC SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
VARIXIO® Pro Mag has been designed in compliance with the harmonised standard for
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) which states that electronic equipment must not emit
electromagnetic interference that may affect radio services or the essential operation of other
devices. Electronic equipment must have adequate immunity to radio frequency (RF) interference
in order to offer basic safety and normal operation in the presence of electromagnetic interference.
VARIXIO® Pro Mag requires special precautions with respect to EMC and
must be installed and operated in accordance with the information provided
about EMC. Portable and mobile RF communication equipment may affect the
VARIXIO® Pro Mag appliance during normal operation.
Only the cables and accessories supplied by the manufacturer must be used.
The use of accessories, transducers and cables other than those specified may
cause an increase in emissions or reduce the immunity of VARIXIO® Pro Mag.
VARIXIO® Pro Mag should not be used adjacent to or stacked on top of other
equipment. If this occurs, the VARIXIO® Pro Mag appliance must be observed
to check that it is operating correctly.
