noise protection measures need to be introduced
for the user (ear-muffs).

„The quoted values are emission values and not
necessarily reliable workplace values. Although there
is a correlation between emission and immission
levels it is impossible to draw any certain conclusions
as to the need for additional precautions. Factors
with a potential influence on the actual immision level
at the workplace include the duration of impact, the
type of room, and other sources of noise etc., e.g.
the number of machines and other neighbouring
operations. Reliable workplace values may also vary
from country to country. With this information the
user should at least be able to make a better
assessment of the dangers and risks involved."

6. Before putting the machine into
operation
The machine must be firmly mounted in working
position, e.g. on a workbench, the base frame
supplied with the machine, or similar.
All the covers and safety devices have to be

properly fitted before the machine is switched on.
It must be possible for the saw blade to run
freely.
When working with wood that has been
processed before, watch out for foreign bodies
such as nails or screws etc.
Before you actuate the On/Off switch, make sure
that the saw blade is correctly fitted and that the
machine's moving parts run smoothly.
Before you connect the machine to the power
supply, make sure the data on the rating plate is
the same as that for your mains.

7. Operation and handling

7.1 Switching on and off

The On/Off switch (1) is located on the operating
handle
Press the On/Off switch to switch the machine
on.
Keep the On/Off switch (1) pressed down while
sawing.
Release the switch to stop the tool.
Caution: Never switch the machine on or off
under load.
7.2 Setting the stop position (Fig. 2)
The stop position may be changed depending on the
1300 rpm
application.
In order to be able to use the saw for mitre cuts the
72
stop (11) should ideally be in the foremost position.
0° to 45°
In order to use the saw for maximum width crosscuts
the stop should be in the rearmost position.
To change the position proceed as follows:
120 mm
Remove Allen screws (9)
Move stop to the desired position
Screw stop (11) on again.
7.3 Setting the cutting angle (Fig. 2)
80 mm
The machine can be used for mitre cuts.
Turn the hand wheel (9) anticlockwise in order to
create space to adjust the stop.
Undo the two Allen screws (9).
Set the desired angle on the dial (16).
25 kg
Retighten the Allen screws (9).
≤ 2,5 m/s

7.4 Clamping the workpiece (Figs. 3; 4)
The machine is fitted with a workpiece clamping
device (8).
Turn the hand wheel anticlockwise in order to
open the clamping device.
Place the workpiece at the stop. It is essential to
ensure that the workpiece is clamped correctly,
as shown in Fig. 4, to prevent the workpiece from
disengaging during the cut.
