Attach the enclosed trailer module onto the retaining plate with Velcro tape.
(see illustration 4)
Plug the 15-pin receptacle housing onto the trailer module and screw the retaining plate on again.
Vehicles without PDC
Plug in the 15-pin receptacle housing. (see illustration 5)
Attach the trailer module from the outside to the diagonally running tie-bar with Velcro tape.
Touring:
Vehicles with the battery in the trunk
Attach the enclosed trailer module to the right side of the trunk behind the trunk ventilation with
Velcro tape.
Insert the 15-pin receptacle housing to the trailer module and place the excess length of this wire
lane into a loop on the vehicle's wire lane.
Vehicles with the battery in the engine area
Lay the 15-pin receptacle housing and the cable sockets of the brown/white and brown wires to
the vehicle's earthing point on the right wheel case.
Attach the enclosed trailer module at the designated location beneath the vehicle's earthing point.
Place the 15-pin receptacle housing onto the trailer module.
All models:
Connect the cable sockets of the brown and brown/white wires to the vehicle's earthing point.

Lay the blue/brown, grey/yellow and black/blue wire ends to the right tail light .
Connect the wire ends with the enclosed terminal connecter to the vehicle's wires at the tail lights
as follows.

Note:
The insulated wire end (yellow wire) is used to extend socket functions (charging wire for
battery/trailer).
This wire is attached under the right tail light on the wire lane.
