4.4. START-UP

- Switch on light switch (No. 38), if the dust extraction system connected to the machine is automatically
activated by the machine.
- Introduce the part to be blasted inside the working chamber and close the window locking pin (No. 19 –
assuring the perfect airtight seal on the joint). We remind to close hermetically the machine every time
you start to work.
- Lift the reducer knob (No. 42) and turn it till the desired pressure is set, push the knob down to block.
- To start blasting, operate the foot control (No. 22).

5. MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLE-SHOOTING

Before to carry out the maintenance work and/or cleaning, disconnect from the main power
supply (switch OFF and unplug to mains socket) and pneumatic system.
Observe the following recommendations to ensure the longevity of the device:
- Clean the machine outside with a soft, dry cloth.
- Do not use abrasive, solvents or flammables products for cleaning (outside and inside).

5.1. REPLACE

PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED
Remove the plastic cover (No. 6) from its support (No. 4), take off the lamp
rightward and re-assemble.
Remove the nozzle-holder cap from the body (No. 28) and introduce a new unit
in the same position.
Remove the fixing clips (No. 16), clean accurately the glass and place a new
protection screen.
Unscrew the four screws to remove the flange (No. 15), put the new glove on
the flange holding band and re-assemble.
By means of a small screwdriver, loosen the pliers nut, keep the spring and the
sphere, disconnect the pipes, unscrew the fixing screw and replace.
Move the chamber forward, remove the cap (No. 35) from the lower part of
the machine and let abrasive flow through the exhaust hole. Clean accurately
and fill in the hopper with new abrasive (approx. 6 kg).
