7. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the sound source for the alarm 1. You can choose from
Buzzer, FM, CD or USB. Press the MENU/INFO button to confirm.
8. Use the NEXT/PREV button to set the hour for the alarm 2 and press the MENU/INFO button to
confirm.
9. The minute of alarm 2 will now flash. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the minutes for the
alarm 2 and press the MENU/INFO button to confirm.
10. Use the NEXT/PREV button to scroll to the sound source for the alarm 2. You can choose from
Buzzer, FM, CD or USB. Press the MENU/INFO button to confirm.
Note: Press the MENU/INFO button repeatedly to turn on/off the alarm 1 and alarm 2 function.
'AL' symbol in the top of the display, together with the digit '1' or '2' as appropriate, will confirm when
an alarm has been set.
AL 1------Alarm 1 ON

Stopping the Alarm
When the alarm sounds, press and release the POWER/MODE button.
Alternatively, you can press and release the 'SLEEP/SNOOZE' button on the remote control (see
Snooze function below).
Note: If you press the POWER/MODE button to stop the alarm, the alarm symbol will remain on the
display and the alarm will sound again at the same time the next day.
Snooze
When the alarm sounds, you can press and release the 'SLEEP/SNOOZE' button on the remote
control. 'Snooze' will be displayed, followed by the snooze time countdown, until the alarm sounds
again about 9 minutes later.
Turning off the Alarm
In standby mode, press the MENU/INFO button repeatedly until the AL 1 or AL 2 indicator disappears.
Sleep Timer
You can set your radio to turn off automatically using the sleep timer. You can choose from Sleep off,
10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 minutes.
With your unit switched on (not in Standby mode):
Press the SLEEP/SNOOZE button on the remote control to cycle through the various sleep time
options, such as Sleep off, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 and 90 minutes.
Note: To cancel the sleep timer, follow the steps for setting the sleep time but stop when 'Sleep ' disappears.

Playing a compact disc (CD)

NOTE: Never touch the laser lens inside the CD compartment. Clean the laser lens using a CD cleaner
disc if it becomes dirty.
1. Press the POWER/MODE button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the POWER/MODE button repeatedly to select the CD function.
3. Press the EJECT/+10 button to open the CD door and insert a CD into the tray with the printed
label side facing up.
4. Press the EJECT/+10 button again to close the CD DOOR and the disc will rotate for a few
seconds, then automatically play the 1
5. To temporarily pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN button. To resume, press it again.
6. Press the STOP/SELECT button to stop playback.
Reverse/Forward
