Set up appliance

Setup
‒ horizontally and vibration free,
‒ under an extraction hood with flame-retardant filters,
‒ not against flammable walls.
. Remove protective film from appliance. Remove residual adhesive with cleaner or benzene.
● Make sure that there is sufficient area for movement to operate the appliance! Make also sure
there is no risk of inadvertent impact with persons when handling the appliance. The free area for
movement in front of the appliance should be a minimum width of one meter!
9.3

Connect the electrical power supply

● The electrical connection must be carried out in accordance with the applicable provisions of the
VDE 0100 and the respective responsible energy supply company.
● The flexible mains lead must be at least H 07 RN-F.
● An electrical main switch must be installed upstream with easy access. The switch must effec­
tively disconnect the appliance at all poles from the mains. The respective contact opening must
be a minimum of 3 mm.
● Instruct the owner and the operating personnel where the main switch provided in the kitchen for
the appliance is located so that the appliance may be switched off without danger in the event of
hazards to the user (e.g. risk of fire).
● For safety reasons, we recommend installing a residual current circuit breaker (RCB).
● Observe the data on the type plate when making the electrical connection!
● Integrate the appliance into the equipotential bonding system. Its effectiveness must be checked
in accordance with VDE 0190.
● Securely connect the mains connection cable at the customer's premises.
9.3.1

Remove front cover from the baking oven

Screws at the top, side and bottom
DANGER! Hazardous electric voltage!
Risk of electric shock that may result in serious injury or death!
● The electrical installations must only be carried out by authorized customer service
or a qualified electrician!
. Switch off the appliance and secure it against switching on!
Front covers must only be removed by authorized
customer service or qualified electrician!
. Remove screws at the bottom, sides and top.
. Remove the front cover and put it down so that
cables and capillary tubes of the thermostats
are not damaged.
