In the earlier paragraphs, we had a short introduction of the menu below.

At the beginning of the menu heading, the number of the line is displayed.
This number flashes, showing that it can be changed, by using the "+" and "-" keys.
The number 5, shown after the " / " mark, indicates as we explained before the
maximum number of lines in the present menu. The other information shown on the
line heading, concerns the lamp, its present state and the digital circuit command.
The first start-up menu line concerns the dimming device. Showing the
lighting curve, the opening in a percentage between 0% and 100%, and the circuit
number for the diming device's digital command.
On the second line, the lamp time in hours and minutes is displayed. The
two dots are static when the lamp is off and flash once a second when the lamp is
on. The timer starts automatically when the lamp is switched on and stops when the
lamp is switched off. After 10,000 hours of functioning the timer returns to 0.
The third line refers to the booster. The two possible values are ON and
OFF; the default value is "OFF". More on the booster in section 4.3.3.
On line four the recognised digital protocol is displayed. First, the name of
the recognised protocol "DMX" or "AVAB". If a protocol is not recognised, the word
"NONE" is shown. This means that the data connection is missing or that the quality
is not very good. If a protocol is recognised, the packet length is displayed next to
the protocol name.
Examples:
DMX 512 or AVAB 240. The maximal length is 256 for the AVAB packets
and 512 for the DMX pakets.
The fifth line of the menu displays the version of the EPROM program. This
information is useful for up-dating to the latest RJ software version.
