The second line displays the light curve (here Linear Motor), the opening
of the dimming device as a percentage, followed by the channel controlling the
dimmer.
2.3. DATA CONNECTION
The presence and quality of the data connections is given by two LEDS.
The green "DATA" LED flashes when a signal is detected on the data line (It
will also register any digital noise present). The red "ERROR" LED lights up while
protocol recognition is taking place, when recognition has taken place it will go out.
If however a signal is present, but CAD 900 cannot recognise it, the red LED stays
on. Precise details on data control will be looked at later.
