Emptying the dust container
To achieve optimum vacuuming results,
the dust container should be emptied after every
vacuuming job or, at the latest, when the maxi-
mum level is reached.

Use the release button (1) to unlatch the twin
cylinders and open them forwards.

and remove it from the appliance.

Press the button (3) to release the dust con-
tainer flap and empty the container into the
rubbish bin. The flap engages when tilted
backwards.

Fold the flap back and close the dust con-
tainer.
Insert the dust container into the appliance
until it engages (you will hear a positive click).
Fold the twin cylinders back into position
(effectively closing the vaccum cleaner)
making sure that they engage (you will hear
a positive click).
Cleaning the particle filter

Unlatch the twin cylinders and open them
forwards. (See fig. 20)
Remove the particle filter along with the fluff
filter and foam filter and clean them by
knocking out the dirt.
To do so, take off the fluff filter, unlock and
open the flap of the particle filter cartridge
and remove the foam filter.
n If the filters are very dirty, they should all be
washed (by hand or in the washing machine
at 40°C).
After cleaning, insert the foam filter into the
particle filter cartridge, close the flap and
engage it at the sides, and attach the fluff
filter.
Attention: The twin cylinders can only be
!
engaged when the particle filter is fitted.
The filter must be completely dry before it
is refitted in order to ensure that it func-
tions correctly and to prevent the formation
of odours or bacteria.
Cleaning the washable micro filter

Unlatch the twin cylinders and open them
forwards. (See fig. 20)
Unlatch the dust container and remove it from
the appliance (see fig. 21)
Open the exhaust filter cover as far as possi-
ble in the direction of the arrow. The cover
engages in this position.
Remove the micro filter.

Clean the micro filter by knocking out the dirt.
If the micro filter is very dirty, it should be
washed (by hand or in the washing machine
at 40°C).
Replace the micro filter.
Close the exhaust filter cover.
Insert the dust container into the appliance
until it engages (you will hear a positive click).
Push the twin cylinders back into position
(effectivly closing the vaccum cleaner),
making sure that they engage (you will hear
a positive click). (See fig. 23)
Attention: The filter must be completely

dry before it is refitted in order to ensure
that it functions correctly and to prevent
the formation of odours or bacteria.
