2. Mounting the light shield
● From this point on, the front cover and rear cover in the
separate package are assembled.
Check the parts list for the covers.
1. With the wiring groove (used for the power
cord and speaker cords) at the front, hook
the indentations in the light shield  (2 at the
left and 2 at the right) onto the light shield
positioning pins on the supports, mount the
light shield using the light shield mounting
screws  (x2), and secure it.
3. Placing the plasma display on the pedestal
Caution
● The plasma display is heavy so use a device (machine)
that will enable the plasma display to be lowered in
place.
● The controls of the plasma display panel are located on
the right side panel so ensure that they are not bumped
into or knocked during the installation process.
● Align the stand hooks in the plasma display with the
notches (x4) in the pedestal supports, and place the
display on the stand.
1. First, engage the stand hooks in the plasma
display with the notches (2 at the left and
2 at the right) at the bottom of the pedestal
supports.
While lowering the display a little at a time,
align the stand hooks with the notches (2 at
the left and 2 at the right) at the top of the
pedestal supports, and keep lowering the
display until it comes to rest.
