These operating instructions are for practical use and should be available to the
user where the extraction module is to be used.
Keep these operating instructions best of all next to the extraction module.
An assured, faultless functioning of the extraction module is only ensured
when these instructions are followed.

1. Development and manufacture

2. Intended application

Extraction module for venting of up to four safety cabinets.
The device is used for the technical extraction of cabinets. The stream of exhaust air does not come into contact with
electrically live parts or components with untreated metal surfaces. This means that the device is suitable for extracting
fumes from cabinets which are defined in EN 14470 Parts 1 and 2. In addition, chemical cabinets as well as cabinets
for storage of acids and alkalis can be vented.

3. Setting up the device

1. Bore two holes horizontally next to one another above the safety cabinet to be vented with a suitable drill at a
distance of 500 mm (Ø 8 mm) from one another.
2. Blow any residues out of the drill holes and insert the two universal plugs supplied.
3. Screw the two screws supplied into the plastic plugs with a Phillips screwdriver until the screw heads are approx.
7 mm proud of the wall surface.
4. Hang the device onto the screw heads into the keyholes provided. Make sure that the shaft of each screw slides
into the slot of the keyhole.

4. Connect device

1. Connect the suction holes (Ø 100 mm) to the 100 mm tubes on the suction nozzles of the safety cabinet.
A reducer should be used for direct connection to the cabinet if necessary.
2. If you do not need one of the two 100 mm suction holes, please fit a blind plug (not included in the scope of
delivery.
3. Connect the venting opening (Ø 140 mm) with the ventilation ducts on site.
