1 Operating Elements and Connections

1.1 Front panel

1 LED SIREN lights up when the siren signal sounds
2 LEDs PEAK CURRENT for the loop current
3 POWER LED
4 On/off switch
5 Volume control for the channel INPUT 1
6 Volume control for the channel INPUT 2
7 Tone control BASS for the low frequencies
8 Tone control TREBLE for the high frequencies
9 Control LOOP CURRENT for adjusting the loop
current

1.2 Rear panel

10 Low-voltage jack for connection of a power supply
12 V /5 A, inside contact = positive pole
11 Plug-in screw terminals* for connection of the
induction loop and a switch or momentary push-
button for activating the siren sound; contact con-
figuration see fig. 4
12 Microphone input for the channel INPUT 2 as
6.3 mm jack, unbalanced
13 Level selector switch MIC/LINE, for the channel

2 Important Notes
This unit corresponds to all required directives of the
EU and is therefore marked with
The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity, and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0 – 40 °C).
The heat being generated in the unit must be carried
off by air circulation. Therefore, the air vents at the
housing must not be covered.
Do not set the unit into operation, or immediately
disconnect it from the power supply if
1. there is visible damage to the unit or its power
supply,
2. a defect might have occurred after a drop or simi-
lar accident,
3. malfunctions occur.
The unit must in any case be repaired by skilled per-
sonnel.
For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means
chemicals or water.
No guarantee claims for the unit and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the unit is used for other purposes
than originally intended, if it is not correctly con-
nected, operated, or not repaired in an expert way.
If the unit is to be put out of operation defini-
tively, take it to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the envi-
ronment.

3 Applications

The LA-75 is a loop amplifier in constant current tech-
nique with dynamic compressor for creating an induc-
tive sound reproduction system of an area of max.

. It allows transmission of audio signals to hear-
ing aids with a "telephone coil" and to inductive receiv-
ers (e. g. MONACOR LR-200). The wireless signal
transmission allows the user of an inductive sound
reproduction system to move freely within the loop.
