19. SEAM INSPECTION

If the seaming result is not correct, the user
switches off the seam machine, checks the seam
and fixes the problem.

20. CUTTING

The Seaming Pro is supplied with cutting rollers
for cutting existing single and double standing
seams. Regardless of whether it is a roof or a
facade.

Please pay attention to this:
The cutting rolls must not be used for cutting
cross seams and ridge ends. When cutting multi-
layer sheets, the cutting rollers and the drive may
be damaged (note the allowed sheet thickness
on page 32). During the cutting process, please
operate the unit in 1st gear of the power drill only.
For conversion to the cutting function, all forming
rolls are removed. The 4 rubberized driving rolls
are mounted in rows A and B. The cutting rolls
are mounted in row C. Row D is left free. The large
cutting roll is mounted on the housing side of the
tension lever. The small cutting roll is mounted
on the opposite side.
The screws of the rollers are removed and fixed
with the hexagon socket included in the delivery.
Important: Cutting is performed at a lower pres-
sure than seaming. The pressure must be reduced
at the pressure setting screw.
The knurling on the cutting wheels is used to
transport the sheet metal that is being cut. The
distance between the knurls should be 1.2-1.8 mm
(0.05" - 0.07"). Please check with feeler gauge.
The rubber wheels provide the forward drive of
the machine until the cutting wheels touch the
sheet metal. In order for the knurling to catch
the sheet metal, the seaming pro must then be
pushed forward slightly.
