5. COMMISSIONING

Read the owner´s manual carefully before use.
Make sure that only trained and instructed per-
sonnel use the Seaming Pro.
Important: Fasten the holder for the cordless
screwdriver to the seaming machine using the
fastening screws included in the scope of delivery.
Attach the cordless screwdriver to the hexagonal
drive. Switch on the cordless screwdriver briefly
and test whether the drill chuck is fixed centrally
on the holder, i.e. whether it runs smoothly. Now
attach the holder to the cordless screwdriver. It
is not permitted to operate the machine on the
upper drive without the holder.

Alternatively, you can attach the cordless screw-
driver on the rear of the seaming machine. This is
an auxiliary drive for places where the Seaming
Pro is too high using the cordless screwdriver (e.g.
facades). The auxiliary drive is only suitable for
the single standing seam, but not for the double
standing seam or for cutting.
It is recommended to carry out a seaming test
and check whether the desired seam quality
has been achieved. Please adjust the pressure
setting if necessary (see chapter 8). Before
commissioning and during operations check
that all screws of the forming rolls and rubber
drive rollers are tightened.

The machine can be used to process sheets of
metal of different materials in different thicknes-
ses and hardnesses. If you are using sheets that
are below or above the commercially available
qualities, it is recommended that you contact the
Freund-Service.
Important: The Seaming Pro is shipped with a low
pressure setting. The required pressure setting
must be adjusted to the specific application using
the pressure adjustment screw.
Special care must be taken to ensure that after
each use the machine, especially the forming and
driving rolls, are cleaned of residues.

6. POSSIBLE APPLICATIONS

The Seaming Pro can be used with all common
materials in seaming quality (roll- and kink-free;
especially color and galvanized sheets can be
seamed).
