CONCEPT OF DYNAMIC SITTING.
For the LÖFFLER office swivel chairs, the ERGO TOP
360° flexible seat – complementing the rather passively supporting synchro-
nous mechanism – enables an active upright seating posture. The lateral
movement of the seat also supports lateral inclination of the pelvis – in the
sense of training for the neuromuscular stabilisation mechanisms of the
spinal column.
This form of active and dynamic sitting not only trains back muscle, but also
provides the intervertebral discs with nutrients whilst preventing false
posture. Please therefore observe that you can initially get "muscle ache".
ERGO TOP was developed in close co-operation with the Chair of

Ergonomics at the Technical University of Munich and was initially used
for the mobile seating furniture series ERGO & Friends.
