D. Information on maintenance
1. Care

· Ensure no water penetrates the electrical or mechanical parts.
· When washing the vehicle, ensure the jet of water is not directed at the roof
window. There is an air gap between the dome and frame (forced ventilation
through which water could enter the interior of the vehicle.
· Clean perspex and frame using a damp cloth and mild soap solution, if necessary use spe-
cial cleaner (at your own risk).
· The rubber gasket has to be cleaned once a year with a customary caring product, which is
also used for the rubber gasket of car doors. Make this cleaning preferably before the be-
ginning of the cold season.
· Clean insect net and curtain using a soft brush, if necessary use a damp cloth.
· (B1) Occasionally clean the drain apertures (exception: roofs without forced ventilation,
also see B2).

· The lifting system is designed to be maintenance-free.
3. Safekeeping of the installation and operation instructions
The operation and where applicable installation instructions should be kept in the vehicle if
possible in case required.
4. Buying spare parts
· You can obtain spare parts from your dealer.
E. Inner frame additional options

1. General

The inner frame for the roof dome can be equipped in the head pieces with halogen spot lights
for improved lighting in the vehicle or with radial fans for ventilation. To be able to utilise the
options, a supply of power must be laid to the point marked as per Fig. 2 (Assembly
instructions). The informations of the technical data always refer to one head piece.

Pay attention to the following to prevent damage:
Never use any aggressive cleaning agents (solvents / scouring
agents).

If you notice that the crank is stiff or cannot be moved at all, do not
apply force. Check whether there is something jamming the dome.
In the event of damage, contact your dealer.
