Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
Problem
The device only
works slowly or does
not start.
The battery is not
charging up.
The device operates
but does not pick up
any dirt.
During cleaning
the device loses
some of the dirt and
waste.

Disposal

Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that
it can be recycled.
The battery should be removed before the device is disposed of and should be
disposed of separately from the device at suitable collection points.
This device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electri-
cal and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of this device as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially
approved waste disposal company.

Possible cause
The battery (2) is empty.
The battery is not placed in the
battery compartment correctly.
The bottom shaft piece (9) and
the shaft piece of the clean-
ing foot (5) are not connected
together correctly.
The On / Off switch (10) is in
the OFF position.
The battery is not placed in the
charger (3) correctly.
The charger is not inserted
correctly in the plug socket.
The plug socket is defective.
There is no mains voltage.
The dirt container (6) is full.
Dirt particles will remain stuck
to the carpet or will be too big /
heavy to be picked up by the
device.
The dirt container is full.
The fl ap of the dirt container is
not shut correctly.
Dirt has become trapped in the
brushes.
Solution
Charge up the battery.
Correct the fi t of the battery.
Correct the fi t.
Move the On / Off switch to
the ON position.
Correct the fi t of the battery.
Correct the fi t of the charger.
Try another socket.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
Empty the dirt container.
Remove by hand.
Empty the dirt container.
Correct the fi t of the fl ap.
Clean the brushes.
