6 Position the mounts so they are supported on
the hatch reinforcements with (4) 8/125x70
screws, (4) Ø8 wide-rimmed flat washers and (4)
Ø8 grower washers, screwing on Ø8 hexagons
without tightening.
Caution: The screws must be housed in the
recesses of the mounts.

Position (4) M6 rivet nuts in the indicated
boreholes.

Position the console on the interior air distribution
panel and align the unit, in order for the console
to coincide with the original boreholes and the
riveted M6 nuts.
Take care to check that recirculation is inside
the hatch gap, the base of the unit covers the
EPDM seal on all sides and the water run-offs
are on the outside of the EPDM seal once the
unit is aligned.
