Danger for children!
Keep the grips and their accessories away from children under eight years
old.
The grips include small parts which could be swallowed, and also plastic
packaging film. Keep these parts out of the reach of children to avoid the
danger of swallowing and choking or suffocation.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
During installation work, ensure that the bike is in a safe position and that
the workplace is well-lit so that injuries can be avoided while the old grips
are being removed and the new ones are being fitted.
You should only fit the grips yourself if you have the necessary technical
knowledge. Otherwise, the job must be carried out by a motorcycle work-
shop.
NOTE!
Risk of damage!
For safety reasons, unauthorised modifications and/or changes to the
product are not permitted. Potentially heating the rubber components for
easier installation is the exception to this rule.
Ensure that commissioning is performed properly.
Before every journey, check whether your grips are firmly fitted on the
handlebar.

4 | INSTALLATION

4.1 | Preparation

Before you start the conversion, find a suitable place where you can work undisturbed and tidily.
Set out your tools and the parts you need, place the motorcycle safely on the stand and fully cover
the bike tank with a cloth or similar item to protect the paintwork. Before fitting with a calliper
gauge, for example, check whether the grips and handlebar are suitable for one another. The new
gazzini grips are suitable for metric handlebars with an outside diameter of 22 mm.
