Important Notice About the Water
Used
We recommend that you only ever use
distilled water. For this purpose, the an-
ti-limescale fi lter must be taken out of the
water tank. Advantage: The device does
not need to be descaled!
But tap water can also be used. Then
the anti-limescale fi lter must always be
inserted in the water tank and the device
should be descaled every 4 – 6 weeks
(see the "Descaling" chapter).

PREPARING CLOTHING

Please Note!

It is essential that you follow the
care labels for the textiles which are
to be dried / smoothed!
1. Pull the item of clothing you want
onto a hanger (12).
 
A hanger consists of a hanging
bracket and two tensioning rods.
These rods should always, especial-
ly when smoothing, be attached to
the hanging bracket to optimally
shape the item of clothing.
2. If you wish, you can insert the sleeve
tensioners (11) into the sleeves of
the shirt or blouse: To do this, press
them together slightly and slide them
all the way into the sleeve so that
the curved end protrudes out of the
sleeve (Illustration F).
 
When smoothing, the sleeve ten-
sioners should always be placed
in the sleeves so that they are
also optimally smoothed.
3. Attach the weights (8) to the bottom
of the item of clothing using the
clamps.

Button strips in particular should
be weighed down so that they
cannot go out of shape during
drying / smoothing.

FUNCTIONS

The device has three modes to choose
from: Drying, smoothing and freshening
up. Each mode runs through its own cycle.
Stand-By
When the device is switched on via the
main switch (5), the device is in stand-by
mode. The operating lamp (13) fl ashes
alternately red – green – blue.
After each mode, the device automati-
cally switches to stand-by, which is again
indicated by the operating lamp.
Drying Mode
Air is sucked in from the outside, heated
and released into the fabric cover until
the clothing is dry.
The operating lamp (13) pulsates red.
Duration: 20 – 120 minutes depending
how wet the clothing is.
A beep is heard and fi nally cold air is
released into the fabric cover. The operat-
ing lamp pulsates blue.
Duration: 2 minutes
A beep is heard and the operating lamp
fl ashes red while the area inside the fabric
cover is still warm. As soon as the area
inside has cooled down suffi ciently, 3
beeps are heard and the device switches
to stand-by.
Smoothing Mode
CAUTION: hot steam! Hot steam
is emitted at the back and bottom
of the device. There is a danger of
scalding!
The water in the water tank (17) is heated
and the steam which is produced is re-
leased into the fabric cover.
