6.2 Installation of the "Unibox T
vario"
Install the "Unibox T vario" so
that the heating fluid passes first
through the surface heating circuit
and then through the valve of the
"Unibox T vario".

1. Provide a connection at the flow distributor.
2. Lay the surface heating circuit.
Lay the heating circuit in a spiral
pattern to achieve an even heat
distribution.
3. Remove the protection cover of the "Uni-
box T vario" (you must refit the protection
cover after commissioning) and place the
"Unibox T vario" into the wall at the desired
location.

Use a pipe conduit unit to facilitate
installation.
4. Use the enclosed brackets (see 1.2 on
page 19) to align and fix the "Unibox T
vario".

5. Connect the pipework of the surface heat-
ing circuit to the "Unibox T vario".
Observe the marked flow direction.
6. Provide a connecting pipe from the "Uni-
box T vario" to the return collector.

Commissioning
7.1 Filling, bleeding and leak
testing
1. Fill the heating system.
2. Bleed the heating system (for instance at
the valve of the "Unibox T vario").
3. Carry out a leakage test in accordance with
DIN EN 1264.
4. Refit the protection cover of the "Unibox T
vario" (see Illust. 1 on page 19).
