3.2 'Manual' Operation Mode
1 Release the emergency button (1) at the top of the control panel, and turn clockwise by half turn. The
display unit (4) will light up and the indicator light (3) will turn Red, to indicate current input value and
the honey extractor STOP status;
2 Turn Time Selector (2) to its Manual position;
3 Press the Start/Stop button (7);
4 Turn the Speed Selector (5) to the required setting; The indicator light (3) will turn green;
5 Press Start/Stop button (7) to allow opening the half-lid.
3.3 'Automatic' Operation Mode
In the 'Automatic' operation mode, the honey extractor will complete a 4-step work cycle at intermediate
speed until reaching the preset max speed programmed through the Speed Selector (5).
The work cycle duration can be adjusted via the Time Selector (2).
Please note that the maximum speed that can be reached is 400 RPM, while the max permitted cycle time is
20 minutes.
If maximum speed is changed, then the intermediate speed will also change accordingly.
Similarly, when the total cycle time changes, the duration of individual steps will also change accordingly.
CAUTION!! If total cycle time is reduced excessively (to below 12 minutes - which in any case may vary
according to the type of honey to extract), the frame will be running at slow speed for a short period of
time, and when the frames reach the set highest speed, they are still full of honey, thus causing problems
of stability of the extractor and a possibility that the frames break.
6 Release the emergency button (1) at the top of the control panel, and turn clockwise by half turn. The
display unit (4) will light up and the indicator light (3) will turn Red, to indicate current input value and
the honey extractor STOP status;
7 Select the required total cycle time with Time Selector (2);
8 Select the required max work cycle speed with Speed Selector (5);
9 Press the Start/Stop button (7); The indicator light (3) will turn alternately blue and green
(intermittence); The quicker the intermittence, the shorter the total cycle time and viceversa;
10 At cycle end, the honey extractor will automatically stop allowing the half lid to be opened
automatically.
Change of Rotation Direction Function
This function allows the honey extractor cage direction of rotation to be reversed at any time.
In the 'Manual' mode: by acting on the Rotation Direction Control (6) after a given rotation speed is reached
g
(e.g. +100
/
), the cage direction of rotation will be reversed and the pre-set speed will be restored (in this
1
case -100
g
/
).
1
In the 'Automatic' mode: by acting on the Rotation Direction Control (6), the cage direction of rotation will be
reversed and the pre-set work cycle will be completed in the opposite direction.
