11.2. Unhook the left rear flap of the liner from the shell edge by slightly puling the
comfort padding towards the inside of the helmet (Fig. 14). Then repeat the
same steps to remove the central flaps as well as the right flap.
11.3. Hold the left front part of the liner and pull it upwards in order to remove the liner
flap from the support fixed to the polystyrene inner shell (Fig. 15). Then repeat
the same steps for the central front and right flap.
11.4. Remove left and right side flaps of the comfort padding from the cavity between
the inner polystyrene cheek pads and the outer shell (Fig. 16).
11.5. Remove the chin straps from the liner (Fig. 17).
11.6. Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
12. Inner Comfort Padding Assembly
12.1. Insert the liner correctly into the helmet and fit it well against the base.
12.2. Insert the chin strap into the corresponding slot in the cheek pad area of the liner
(Fig. 17). Follow the same steps on the right side of the helmet.
12.3. Insert the right and left side flaps of the liner pushing them into the cavities
between the inner polystyrene cheek pads and the outer shell (Fig. 16).
12.4. Insert the left front flap of the liner into its seat on the support fixed to the pol-
ystyrene inner shell and push it downwards until it is completely locked. Follow
the same steps for the central and right flap (Fig. 15).
NOTE: Check the correct assembly of the liner front area by lifting and lowering
the VPS. These movements should be smooth. If this is not the case, repeat the
steps 11.3 and 12.4.
12.5. Insert the rear right, central and left flaps of the liner into the relevant support
seats in the shell edge (Fig. 14). Push the flaps until they are fully hooked onto
the support.
12.6. Push the padding of the cheek pad in line with the snap fastener on its back by
fastening it to the attachment seat of the frame fixed to the shell (Fig. 13). Whilst
doing this, check that the above mentioned rectangular textile extensions do
not come between the snap fastener and the corresponding fastening seats.
WARNING
-
Remove the inner comfort padding only when cleaning or washing is required.
-
Never use the helmet before completely and correctly reassembling its inner
comfort padding.

Delicately hand-wash in lukewarm water (max. 30° C) and neutral soap.
-
Rinse with cold water and allow drying at room temperature, away from direct
sunlight.
-
Never machine-wash the inner comfort padding.
-
The inner polystyrene is an easily deformable material. It is apt to change or get
partially destroyed to help absorb shocks.
-
Do not modify or alter the helmet's internal polystyrene components in any way.
-
Clean the inner components with a damp cloth only and allow it to dry at room
temperature away from direct sunlight.
-
Never use tools or equipment of any sort to carry out the steps described above.
