7. Troubleshooting

Problem finding

DANGER!
• O nly a qualified electrician may carry out any electrical repairs. All local regulations
must be followed. Contact the manufacturer in case of any doubts.
• Unplug all power connections before opening the appliance.
Error
The light can be switched on
but the motor does not work
Both the light and motor do
not work
Oil is leaking
The light is not working
There is insufficient suction
power/air is not taken up
adequately
The cooker hood is no longer
in a horizontal position

Cause
Fan switch turned off
Fan switch broken
Motor broken
Fuse is broken
Power supply loose or
disconnected
The one-way valve and the
exhaust pipe are not tightly
sealed
There is leakage between
section and cover
The lamp is broken
The distance between the
cooker hood and the cooking
appliance is too large
The screws or not tight
enough
Solution
Put the on/off switch in the
"0" position and push the
LOW, MID or HIGH button to
switch on the fan
Contact service centre
Contact service centre
Reset/Replace fuse
Connect power supply to
wall socket
Disassemble the one-way
valve and seal with sealant
Disassemble the section and
seal with sealant
Replace the lamp (see
Replacing the lamp )
Make sure the distance
between the cooker hood
and the cooking appliance
does not exceed 70 - 80cm
Tighten the screws and level
the cooker in a horizontal
position
