5.1 Filling the Moisture Trap

Notice
Equipment damage due to improper
filling!
Fill the moisture trap outside of the
t
balance.
Procedure
Fill the moisture trap with water at
t
maximum up to the inner edge.
NOTICE To prevent damage due to
t
corrosion inside the weighing chamber,
be sure to empty the moisture trap
when not in use. Leave the moisture
trap filled with water only for the time
it takes to prepare for and perform
pipette calibration.
