MAINTENANCE
Press SELF CLEAN to start a self-clean cycle. Use with the
START TIME button to program a delayed self-clean cycle.
The Self- Clean function has cycle times of 3, 4, or 5 hours.
NOTE
Before running a self-clean cycle be sure to remove
all racks and accessories.
1. Set the clock to the correct time of day, remove
everything from both ovens, and close the oven
door.
2. Press SELF CLEAN once for a 4-hour clean time,
twice for a 5-hour clean time, or 3 times for 3-hour
clean time. A 3-hour self-clean time is recommended
for use when cleaning small, contained spills. A self-
clean time of 5 hours is recommended for heavily
soiled ovens.
3. Press START.
The DOOR LOCKED icon flashes.
4. Once the SELF CLEAN is set, the oven door locks
automatically. You will not be able to open the oven
door until the oven has cooled. The lock releases
automatically.
During the Self-Clean Cycle
• You may see some smoke and smell an odor the first
few times the oven is cleaned. This is normal and will
lessen in time. Smoke may also occur if the oven is
heavily soiled or if a broiler pan was left in the oven.
• As the oven heats, you may hear sounds of metal parts
expanding and contracting. This is normal and will not
damage the oven.
• Do not force the oven door open when LOCK is
displayed. The oven door will remained locked until the
oven temperature has cooled. Forcing the door open
will damage the door.
Setting a Delayed Self-Clean
1. Press SELF CLEAN. Select the desired self clean time
by pressing SELF CLEAN.
2. Press START TIME.
DELAY flashes.
3. Set the desired start time.
4. Press START.
DELAY and CLEAN remain on.
5. Self Cleaning cycle turns on automatically at the set
time.
