Using BTL output mode

This unit can be used as a mono BTL amplifier.
Set the OUTPUT MODE switches on the units for the L and R channels
to BTL.
In BTL mode, use two of these units for stereo playback.
What is BTL connection?
Two amplifier channels are used to drive the speaker for one chan-
nel. This is effective to realize high output for speakers with high
impedance.
Connection example

Connect a set of
cables of one type
or the other.

Preamplifier or other device with
a preamplifier function
(such as a DAC)

switch to BTL.

Select the connectors
being used.

NOTE
o Sound input through the analog audio INPUTS L connector will
be output from both the L and R SPEAKERS connectors.
o In BTL mode, sound input through the analog audio INPUTS R
connector will not be output from the SPEAKERS connectors.

ATTENTION
o Do not connect anything to the SPEAKERS ^ output connectors.

o Set the INPUT SELECTOR and OUTPUT MODE switches for
the R channel the same as for the L channel.
